Booking Your Appointment

To make an appointment for your photography session please call or e-mail or book online.
My office and studio is open 7 days a week, from 10am till 6pm on weekdays, from 10am until 4pm on Saturdays and from 10am until 2pm on Sundays. We will choose a time together which suits you and your family best.
If you need to cancel your session please call at least 24 hours before your appointment.

Pre-Shoot Consultation

I kindly ask everyone who would like to book a photography session to come for a Pre-Shoot Consultation. This session is very important for being able to prepare the studio and make a plan for your photography session. This is the opportunity to discuss clothing options, setting and background preferences, location options, prices and packages, finished portrait options and many other important questions about the photography session.

The session fee needs to be paid at the Pre-Shoot Consultation to secure your appointment and is non-refundable.

If for any reason there is no pre-shoot consultation the session fee is due at booking.

 

At Your Session

On the day of your photography session the photographer will do her best to make it an enjoyable experience for the whole family. There are many toys and other tools in the studio to keep small kids entertained.
A normal photo shoot usually takes 60 minutes, a pregnancy photography session takes about 90 minutes and a newborn session can take up tp 3 hours.

Selecting your Images and Ordering

After your photography session you will need to make another appointment for image viewing and selection. This can happen about a week after your photography session.

After selecting your images please allow 2-4 weeks to receive your printed artwork and USB.

Payment for prints, artworks and digital collections is due in full at the time of ordering.



What to Wear for Your Photography Session

You are welcome to bring a few outfits for you and your children to wear at your photography session. Different outfits can be used with different backgrounds.

We usually ask people to wear simple, plain clothes. Please try to avoid too many bright colours, big logos or patterns, too much patterns and distracting dots, stripes, flowers etc. on your clothes. Please try to choose matching colours for all family members. For example, everyone wearing jeans and a plain white or creamy top can look really nice.
For photographing babies and children only, the studio has many accessories like costumes, hats, blankets etc.

If you would like to have your baby photographed in his or her nappy only, please bring simple white cloth nappy with you, as disposable nappies don’t look good on the photos.



Newborn Photography Session

The best time to photograph your newborn baby is when they are 7-14 days old. This is the perfect time to take peaceful sleeping photos of them. Although many beautiful moments can be captured of older babies as well.

A Newborn Photography Session can take up to 3 hours. I will be very patient if your baby needs a feed, nappy change or cuddle. We will take a break whenever the baby needs it.

If you already had your baby please book your appointment as soon as possible. If you have the chance please call to make a plan for your appointment around the 5th month of your pregnancy.

Please don’t forget to bring plain white cloth nappies or plain white linen wraps for your baby. The studio has many accessories for baby photography, like cute knitted hats, headbands and blankets.

Please bring or wear a simple black and also a simple white or creamy top for special style of newborn photos (both parents).
